It’s okay to disagree but when you go out of your way to sabotage another person, that’s just plain shit.

It’s okay to disagree but when you go out of your way to sabotage another person, that’s just plain shit.

Earlier last week I posted about the same sex gender diverse formal and the attempts to sabotage it by a Christian ( how do they say that and keep a straight face? ) conservative group who are also trying to stop the safe schools initiative in Australia. These shit people were buying up tickets to the formal in an attempt to block GLBT young people from being able to purchase cheaper advance tickets.

My immediate reaction was rage. It makes me so angry when totally shit people act this way. It’s wasn’t enough to bleat homophobic garbage. They had to take it a step further and attempt to deny these young people a safe place where they could feel free to be themselves. What kind of an adult bullies kids? A CUNT.

I’m sorry about the harsh language but if my words offend you more than the thought a group of adults deliberately sabotaging an event designed to help a group of youth who are over represented in suicide statistics more than any other group then you Sir or Madam are just as bad as the bigots.

And now in Australia right wing homophobe Cory Bernardi who has in the past compared homosexuality to bestiality in the Parliament is gunning for the safe school coalition who provide resources and training to students and teachers to help facilitate safe learning environments for GLBTI youth. It’s at this point that I should point out the the Chaplaincy program was to be funded over $240 million dollars compared to the Safe Schools Coalitions $8 million.

I’m so sick of these shitty homophobic bullies picking on Kids. GLBTI kids get bullied enough without these pricks making life harder.

Cory Bernardi, you sir are a CUNT.

That reminds me of the whole Section 28 debate in the UK. It’s hard enough growing up gay without people in a position of leadership in the country bleating on about how you’re abnormal. I’d have hoped, though, that this sort of nonsense had died out by now.

Hopefully there will be enough of a backlash from the more rational members of parliament that the kids realise that this Bernardi guy is the abnormal one.
